“It always seems impossible until it’s done.” — Nelson Mandela
Perhaps that is exactly how the Dewey Hai Phong community feels as we look back on the 2025–2026 school year — a long journey filled with challenges, yet concluded with countless proud and meaningful achievements.

At the beginning of the school year, perhaps even the Grade 12 “warriors” of Dewey Hai Phong could not have imagined that they would earn more than VND 73 billion in scholarships or receive offers from some ofthe world’s leading universities such as UCLA (#2 public university in the U.S.) and the University of Sydney (#1 in Australia). Yet they did — through critical thinking, resilience, and the courage to step beyond their ownlimits. While an important national examination still lies ahead, Dewey Hai Phong firmly believes that with the strong foundation they have built over the years, together with the support of their families and teachers, these students will continue to go even further and achieve even greater success in the future.

This school year also marked a remarkable breakthrough for Dewey Hai Phong students across various “arenas” — from academics, arts, technology, and foreign languages to community-based competitions. Morethan 800 awards stand as proof of a generation willing to challenge themselves, step outside their comfort zones, and confidently express their unique identities.
Alongside these achievements has been Dewey Hai Phong’s persistent journey to continuously elevate educational quality and learning experiences. After five years of reporting, self-assessment, hundreds ofinterviews, and extensive collaboration with the Council of International Schools (CIS), the Dewey Hai Phong community proudly celebrated receiving CIS Accreditation with 100% of evaluation standards fully met — the result of an unwavering commitment to continuous improvement and global educational excellence.
That spirit continues as the school successfully renewed its integrated program partnership with Mount Vernon School (Top 10 Most Innovative Schools in the U.S.) for the 2026–2031 period, while also maintaining itsposition as the first school cafeteria system in Vietnam to achieve ISO 22000:2018 certification for Food Safety Management Systems. Behind every international standard lies Dewey Hai Phong’s serious investment in learning quality, student experiences, and the sustainable development of every learner.

And perhaps the most meaningful achievement of all after this remarkable year is a community that has become more connected and stronger through every shared experience. It is reflected in 74 events andexperiential learning projects held throughout the year. It is found in more than 1,200 positive parent testimonials about their children’s growth and transformation each day. It is seen in Edufit’s 15th AnniversaryCelebration, which brought together nearly 2,000 students, parents, and staff members to create a Vietnam Record artwork featuring 4,000 handprints and raise more than VND 1 billion to build schools forunderprivileged students. Such connection could never exist without trust, understanding, and the enduring partnership between families and the school throughout every child’s journey of growth.

Behind every milestone is the journey of countless dedicated, responsible, and resilient individuals constantly moving forward together. As Ms. Dang Thi Thanh Hai — Head of Operations Division 2 — once shared: “The more challenges we face, the more we grow.” Perhaps it is this very spirit that has shaped a unique “Dewey DNA” — unafraid of challenges, never satisfied with old limits, and always ready to improve and evolveevery single day.

As we close this remarkable school year, Dewey Hai Phong would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all students, parents, teachers, and staff members for creating such an inspiring and proud journey together. And from the milestones we celebrate today, Dewey Hai Phong will continue carrying forward the spirit of daring to be different, daring to innovate, and constantly reaching further to create even more meaningfuljourneys in the future.
