Summer arrives at Dewey Hai Phong ever so gently. It is the season when the trees across campus seem greener under the sunlight, cicadas begin their familiar song beyond classroom windows, and the red blossoms of flamboyant trees quietly brighten the corners of the schoolyard with a feeling so distinctive to the city.

Even in the heat of summer, Dewey’s campus still feels calm and refreshing — shaded by green trees, open breezy spaces, and afternoons filled with students’ laughter. There are moments that seem so small — a ray of sunlight slipping through the leaves, a lively recess break, or a slow and peaceful walk home after school — yet they become the memories that stay with us the longest.

Many more flamboyant seasons will come and go, but somewhere in our students’ memories, there will always remain a summer at Dewey Hai Phong — green, radiant, and beautifully clear, like the brightest days of youth.
