Recently, three Dewey students—Nguyễn Kỳ Anh (12Austin), Lê Hoàng Minh Ngọc (12Austin), and Nguyễn Phúc Lâm (12Detroit)—were awarded prestigious talent scholarships from VinUniversity, marking a significant milestone for Dewey students on their journey to top-tier universities. Among them, Kỳ Anh stood out with an 80% scholarship for the Doctor of Medicine program, one of the university’s most competitive tracks. Meanwhile, Phúc Lâm and Minh Ngọc each secured valuable scholarships in Business Administration.

Reflecting on her journey, Kỳ Anh shared: “Dewey teachers provided tremendous support throughout my application process—from preparing my portfolio to refining my essays—and continuously inspired me to strive for my best. The experiential learning environment at Dewey also helped me develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities, giving me greater confidence when applying to universities.” Among various options, Kỳ Anh found VinUniversity to be closely aligned with her future aspirations. With its distinguished faculty and a curriculum that integrates in-depth research with hands-on clinical practice, VinUniversity offers an ideal foundation for her to pursue her long-standing passion in congenital anomaly surgery.

Kỳ Anh’s achievement is not an isolated case. The journeys of Minh Ngọc and Phúc Lâm also reflect a strong spirit of proactivity, resilience, and continuous self-improvement. Their accomplishments once again affirm the quality of education at The Dewey Schools—nurturing students who think independently, adapt confidently in a global environment, and aspire to create meaningful impact in society.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dương Hồng Phúc, Academic Director of the Vietnamese Program (Secondary & High School) at Dewey Tây Hồ Tây, emphasized: “Equip yourselves comprehensively—not only in academics, but also in skills and real-world experiences. Most importantly, believe in yourselves, be ready to step forward, and embrace the challenges ahead. With the strong foundation you have built, Dewey is confident that you will continue to excel and reach new heights.”
