A happy school is not only a place where students acquire knowledge, but also an environment that nurtures positive lifestyles and a strong sense of responsibility toward the world around them. Within the multi-layered Well-being ecosystem at The Dewey Schools, environmental education and the development of a green school environment are identified as key priorities—contributing to both physical and mental well-being while fostering community responsibility among future global citizens.
With this spirit, the “Green Ideas” Competition is officially launched, marking the next step in Dewey’s journey to bring its Well-being goals to life. The competition offers TDSers an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of environmental challenges that directly affect everyday life, while inspiring creative thinking and “activating” practical green initiatives with real-world applicability. It also provides a platform for students to express their voices, perspectives, and commitment to sustainable living through visually engaging, creative, and distinctive projects.
COMPETITION DETAILS
THEME: Design one environmental project that can be implemented at the school level.
1. Participants:
Students of The Dewey Schools Tây Hồ Tây
2. Entry format:
Individual / Group / Whole-class submission
3. Project formats:
Students may choose one of the following formats:
- Posters, infographics, drawings, photos, etc.: A4, A3, or A2 size
- Introductory video: 5–7 minutes
- Animated video:
- Short clip: 1–3 minutes
- Long clip: up to 5 minutes
(Projects must be self-designed and clearly cite all resources used.)
4. Submission method:

5. Evaluation criteria:
- Award-winning projects will be assessed based on:
- Feasibility for implementation within the school setting
- Creativity and originality
- Sustainability and positive environmental impact
- Clear, engaging, and effective presentation
