Recently, Dewey students enthusiastically joined the “You’re Not Alone” campaign through the School Talent ShowcaseMinishow — an inspiring platform where TDSers spread the message of online safety through the power of creativity and art.

Despite the chilly, rainy weather, the energy and passion of Dewey performers lit up the stage with three thought-provoking performances. The dance performance “Trap” delivered a powerful reminder of the importance of family connection and the courage to speak up against hidden dangers. The rap act “Young HipHop” encouraged young people to raise their voices, seek help, and find solutions when facing unsafe situations online. The expressive performance “Tangled” highlighted that when silence is broken, we find both freedom and the strength to reconnect with genuine love and understanding.

The TDSers’ performances received tremendous applause and admiration from the audience. Following their showcase, a representative from the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention, Ministry of Public Security, praised Dewey students for their creativity, thoughtful preparation, and impactful delivery of the campaign’s message.

Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hiền—Vietnamese Literature Teacher at The Dewey Schools—shared, “At Dewey, the theme of ‘Digital Citizenship’ is integrated into various subjects. Participating in the ‘You’re Not Alone’ campaign is not only an opportunity for students to express their voices but also to equip themselves with essential skills for staying safe in the digital world.”
Through emotional and meaningful performances, TDSers showcased their creativity, talent, and collaborative spirit as true Dewey Digital Citizens.
In an era where people are often drawn into the virtual world and risk losing real connections, it is empathy, understanding, and companionship that create the strongest bond—protecting children and empowering them to thrive safely in the online space.
