In recent days, the northern and central provinces of Vietnam have been severely affected by the devastating impact of Typhoons No. 10 and No. 11. Heavy rains and flooding have not only damaged homes and roads but also caused serious destruction to school facilities. Many students in the affected areas are now facing shortages of notebooks, school supplies, and other essential items.

Responding to the call from the Dewey Tây Hồ Tây Community Fund, teachers, staff, parents, and students across the school have joined hands to contribute to the program “Sharing Love – Supporting Students to School.” Within just one week of launching, the program received more than 20,000 notebooks and learning materials, over 600 sets of clothing, and hundreds of essential goods such as food and daily necessities.

All donated items were carefully collected, sorted, and delivered by the Fund to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training to promptly support students in storm- and flood-affected areas. Every notebook, pen, and gift sent is not only material support but also a heartfelt message of love and encouragement — reminding the students that they are not alone on their journey back to school.

The Executive Board of the Dewey Tây Hồ Tây Community Fund would like to express our deepest gratitude to all teachers, staff, parents, and students for spreading compassion and kindness throughout the community. We believe that this spirit of solidarity and empathy will continue to grow and shine through every meaningful action and community project of Dewey in the future.
