The radiant smiles of TDSers as they receive awards, scholarships, and accolades both locally and internationally, and the joy and pride shining in their parents’ eyes as they witness their children grow—these beautiful moments marked the conclusion of the 2024–2025 school year and the journey of “beyond the blueprint, mapping your own way.”
Each school day, students’ journeys of personal growth are enriched by new experiences and challenges—each a valuable puzzle piece contributing to the map of their future.
The once-timid first graders who cautiously stepped through the doors of primary school have now grown into more confident and independent young learners. From shaky first letters and hesitant calculations, they can now read fluently, write poetry, and solve math problems. For our secondary school students, the past year has been a journey of stepping beyond comfort zones. They showcased their unique identities through academic projects and boldly participated in major competitions. Notably, 43.5% of 12th graders have earned over 114 billion VND in scholarships and financial aid from prestigious universities around the world.
Yet, as Mr. Dương Hồng Phúc, Director of the Secondary Vietnamese Program, wisely said: success is not measured solely by awards or scholarships. “Every small step forward is worthy of recognition: the first time a student raises their hand to speak, an improved grade, or simply showing up to school with a better mindset than the day before—that is a personal victory. Because the only true measure of progress is who you were yesterday.”
At Dewey, students are not only equipped with academic knowledge but also taught to live with compassion and empathy. From charity trips to community projects, every small act becomes a powerful lesson in kindness and generosity. One of the most touching moments of the ceremony was when students presented fresh bouquets to the operations team—a heartfelt gesture of gratitude to the “unsung heroes” who ensured a safe, meaningful, and fulfilling school year.
The success of Dewey students today is the result of a connected and human-centered educational ecosystem—one shaped by the tireless efforts of students, the dedication of teachers, and the unwavering support of families. Looking into the bright eyes and confident smiles of our students, we are filled with faith in the brilliant journey that lies ahead.
As one chapter closes, another begins. We wish our Dewey “warriors” continued passion and the courage to break through, writing the next extraordinary chapter of the new school year. Don’t fear mistakes, setbacks, or failure—because to dare to make mistakes is to dare to learn. And that is the true path to success.
