On April 4th, 2021, a great number of elementary school students in the whole city took part in the selection round in the city – Round 2 of the 2020-2021 TOEFL Primary Challenge with the TOEFL Primary test.
The test results are the criteria based on which parents determine their child’s English ability and cooperate with the schools in creating a suitable learning roadmap which helps promote our students’ strengths in this important subject. With their courage and outstanding English ability, Dewey students confidently took part in the competition and achieved impressive accomplishments, specifically: 6 Dewey students gained absolute score (230/230), who qualified for the nationwide and citywide final round of the competition (Round 3). Especially among 2nd grade participants, there were two students who gained absolute scores (230/230) in the city and one of them is the little ‘warrior’ Tran Duc Duy – a student of the Dewey school.
Congratulations to all of you! These achievements gained by the students are admirable exemplar for their confidence, passion for learning and tireless endeavour of our students. Let’s look forward to the Final round of the competition nation with more outstanding impressions made by our students!
