‘In the complex developments of the epidemic, my students and I not only had to practice during our free time at school, like transition time between classes, but we also had to ensure the safe distancing. Sometimes we had to practice online with certain difficulties, but my students still remained excited to contribute their talents and passion to the project. The greatest motivation that helped us to overcome these barriers was the wish to convey the meaningful messages, the positive attitude of TDS people to the community through music and art.’
Above is the emotional sharing from Teacher Nguyen Minh Kien – the Art Director of the ‘Symphony of Aspiration’, the first joint artistic project of The Dewey Schools system, before the official wrap-up of the program.
60 days of working, from the stage of brainstorming, planning, filming to wrapping, 100 personnels of the production team have devoted their passion and responsibilities for the common goals of introducing The Dewey School’s honorable values to the community. For their first time joining such a huge artistic program, students have their own concerns about whether they can make it. However, despite all that, the TDSers community and the program contributors take great pride in our joint efforts to produce the beautiful melodies from the bottom of our hearts. More than just music are the moving stories told by parents, teachers and students on the stage of the ‘Symphony of Aspiration’.
After all, this is how The Dewey Schools teachers and students broaden our horizons, deliver our positive attitude and convey the adaptability to handle the current difficulties, which helps us to stay strong and confident in our life ahead.
Let’s sit down together with your family members and beloved ones to enjoy the program at 20:00 on Saturday March 19, 2022, and to ‘chill’ with the beautiful sounds and the vibrant colors of the school life at The Dewey Schools!
