💻 We are now living in a modern technological world where such smart devices as computers and mobile phones facilitate data connection and exchange, thus bringing more convenience to life. In today’s era, all areas ranging from production, business, services, education, etc. are led by technology with a series of breakthroughs.
⌨ Undoubtedly, technology will become more intelligent once being programmed by us human. With the IT Curriculum at TDS, students are entitled to learn programming right from Elementary level, helping them to combine programming theory and activities that boost creativity, critical thinking and interdisciplinary knowledge. This, accordingly, benefits students’ adaptiveness and digital citizenship that enables them to use varying technology in an effective, optimum, ethical, serious and respected way.
Despite the limiting online learning practices caused by Covid-19, students from 5 Boston at TDS Cau Giay still experience their IT lessons with excitement. With their teacher’s instructions, TDSers learn to create their favorite characters using such tools as brush, loop, square and rectangular. They learn Scratch from basic to advanced levels, from simple knowledge including computer science, artificial intelligence, programming thinking, algorithm design and analysis to solving more challenging programming problems. Through their programming activities and products, students gain ownership over knowledge, and are able to improve themselves with such problems as designing game apps then sharing it with others like a professional programmer. Students are free to experience, design and turn their ideas into real products on their computer in their own way, then apply their critical thinking to analyze, evaluate and figure out the most optimal solution. Thereby, students gradually learn how to use the power of technology to solve problems quickly and effectively.
