Under the dazzling stage lights, the vibrant music fills the air, and on the professional stage, the confident steps and talents of the contestants create a vivid artistic picture that can only be found at D-Show. Although it was Dewey Ocean Park’s first time joining the “D-Show family,” over 40 performances in the Preliminary Round touched the hearts of everyone present during the two days of competition.
Each contestant stepped onto the stage not just to showcase their skills, but to tell a lively story through music, dance, and emotion. Some students, who might seem to only love sports, captivated the audience with the melodious tunes created by their graceful hands gliding over the piano keys. There were also parents who put aside their busy schedules to perform with their children on stage, creating a touching image. And there were dedicated teachers, not only teaching students but also confidently performing graceful dance moves, transmitting energy and boundless passion.
Every performance was like a unique color, contributing to a vibrant and lively picture. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that the stage of D-Show is a stage for relentless effort. Ms. Vu Thi Hien, Head of the Art Advisory Committee for D-Show 25 at Dewey Ocean Park, shared: “We were truly surprised and moved by what the contestants presented. In the past two days of competition, each performance was unique in its own way, and it was this diversity that made it difficult for us to choose which performances would proceed to the next round. The creativity and effort of the students make us proud of this promising generation. The moments of brilliance on stage were truly a well-deserved reward for their hard work, as well as for the parents and teachers.”
Standing on the D-Show stage with her child, the mother of student My An from Grade 1 Manila sincerely shared: “The theme ‘The Future Me’ of D-Show this year really moved me. As someone who has been with the children from the beginning of their practice, seeing them shine on stage today, I feel so proud. Each of them has their own unique personality, but the performance ‘The Spirit of Vietnam’ by Grade 1 Manila was truly special. While Nguyên Chương is a boy with a strong character, both his mother and teacher were surprised to see him participate in the performance in such a polished and professional manner. And Viet Bách, an energetic boy, never complains and is always ready to give his best. For us, today’s performance was a brilliant success.”
Each performance told a unique story, but all shared a common message: confidence, creativity, and the desire to conquer. In those moments of brilliance, the contestants not only showcased their talents but also overcame their own limits, leaving a strong impression on the audience.
Even though it was just the preliminary round, D-Show 25 at Dewey Ocean Park has proven that effort and determination always lead to deserving results. That result is a colorful musical picture, an unforgettable emotional party.
We invite teachers, parents, and students to relive the brilliant moments from the Preliminary Round of D-Show 25. And stay tuned for the results of the Preliminary Round, which will be updated soon!
