Our recent internship in the communications marketing sector provided us with such an incredible experience. It felt like we were transported into a magical world, conjuring up top-notch, high-quality media products. Every day was a new and exciting chapter of discovery.
Explore the crucial role of marketing in business
We started our internship with a tour of the Educo office, learning about the functions and responsibilities of each department, particularly the crucial role of the communications marketing team within a business. “Only by participating in this internship did I realize that communications are not as simple as I thought, nor are they confined to social media as I had previously imagined,” shared Vu Khanh Toan, a communications marketing intern.
The internship offered us a comprehensive view of multimedia communications. The knowledge we gained about building marketing strategies and analyzing the 4P model during our theoretical lessons served as “powerful spells,” helping us complete tasks related to market segmentation and demographic research for various brands.
Learn video shooting and photography skills
From understanding equipment, camera angles, and shooting compositions to mastering video editing skills on Capcut, it was like uncovering unexplored magic. Through hands-on sessions of video recap production and media photography for experiential groups, we gained a clearer understanding of the process involved in creating high-quality media products.
The highlight of the internship week was our remarkable ability to transform into various roles: editor, producer, filmmaker, director, and more. We had always thought that marketing professionals needed to be dynamic and extroverted, but it turns out there are many positions suitable for introverts as well, such as digital marketing and content production.
Not only did we hone our news writing skills and learn how to write “SEO standard” articles, but we also engaged in hands-on practice, experiencing the tasks of a true media professional. We had the opportunity to test and refine our skills, from scripting, editing, interviewing, filming, and photographing to editing and finalizing products. The experience of personally creating professional media products with a distinct personal touch was memorable for us.
A bright future with accumulated knowledge
The journey of exploring the world of Communications and Marketing provided us with a deeper insight into this “super hot” industry. By the end of the journey, the apprentice wizards had grown more mature and confident with the “communication spells” in hand. We are now ready to step into the real world, bringing the valuable experience and knowledge gained from this internship into future media projects and campaigns!
