On July 1st, the internship experience week at Dewey officially kicked off, bringing an exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere to 10th and 11th-grade students. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to embark on a journey of exploring various career fields through a series of beneficial activities and real-life experiences.
Edufit Education Corporation has opened its doors to welcome more than 20 students to its reputable subsidiary companies. Speaking at the welcome ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trong Tung, Career and University Advisor, shared: “We are extremely proud that our school has member companies with fully functional departments. We are also very confident in having a team of highly specialized staff with deep understanding in each field. These are the people who will directly receive and train our students in specialized knowledge as well as practical skills during the upcoming internship.”
During the internship week, students will be challenged in three main professional fields: Marketing Communications, Information Technology, and Human Resources Management. On the first day, the interns experienced a tour of the Edufit office, learned about the company’s operating model, the functions of each department, and an overview of the industries. On the second day, they began to delve into specialized concepts such as: studying demographics, creating content plans, and writing SEO articles in the Marketing field; creating recruitment newsletters in the Human Resources Management field; and understanding the 7 steps of software development in the Information Technology field. Each field introduces a new, challenging, but equally interesting world.
The internship experience week at Dewey is not just a “golden ticket” for students to immerse themselves, challenge themselves, and learn from a unique and unprecedented journey. It is also a crucial stepping stone that helps students orient their career paths with countless attractive opportunities:
- Integrating into a real-world environment and gaining a more comprehensive and accurate view of the professions students intend to pursue.
- Learning from a team of experienced industry experts, mastering professional skills, and developing a professional work ethic.
- Building and expanding their professional network.
- Developing important skills such as communication, teamwork, and independent thinking.
Mr. Duong Hong Phu , Director of the Vietnamese Program for Middle and High School at Dewey, expressed his expectations: “As this is the first time students are taking on the real tasks of an employee, you will undoubtedly face many difficulties and challenges. However, with thorough preparation and the enthusiasm of all the teachers here, I hope that this internship will bring you the most interesting experiences and the most valuable lessons!”
Let’s look forward to the exciting experiences and the “super impressive” products of the interns during this memorable internship!
