📌Last semester, the Science subject brought Boston 5th graders a lot of useful information about human health, including heavily damaging diseases and those that cause widespread community transmission when developing into a pandemic.
Unlike the normal knowledge tests, students had an interesting learning session when they became “scientists” reporting their group’s “research” on the HIV-AIDS, Covid pandemic, and the 4 stages of human development. Their reports brought plenty of insights into the dangers of the diseases, precautions, drugs, vitamins and medicine used in order to keep the body healthy against illnesses.
📝 The presentation session was professionally conducted with headlines, problem solving, supporting data, and closings. Students became the MCs of the program, especially they even organized minigames to create excitement for all participants.
✔️ Creative learning does not only help students to be proactive in acquiring and mastering new knowledge outside of books, but it also cultivates their social skills in information research, synthesis, and data analysis, in addition to teamwork ability and presenting with self-confidence.
👉 TDS Cau Giay students shared: “While working on a project, we figured out many problems such as: finding data, assigning tasks, arranging time to work together and having to practice. We gave presentations together quite a few times, but exercises like this help us gain new knowledge about the lesson and bond with our classmates.”
